Job Title: Accounts Payable ClerkJob DescriptionThe Accounts Payable Clerk plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payments. This position focuses on maintaining precise financial records, reconciling vendor accounts, and supporting routine and month-end accounting activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, high-volume data entry capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications1 year in accounts payableExperience working with invoices and PO'sComfortable with ERP softwareExperience with high volume data entryResponsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices by verifying coding, pricing, supporting documentation, and overall accuracy before entering them into the accounting system. • Match invoices with corresponding purchase orders and receiving documents, ensuring proper three-way matching and promptly resolving any discrepancies. • Record and maintain accurate accounting entries, including preparing adjustments and corrections when necessary. • Reconcile vendor accounts and manage monthly payment processes for assigned suppliers. • Review vendor statements regularly, investigate outstanding issues, and coordinate resolutions with vendors, warehouse personnel, and internal departments. • Maintain organized electronic vendor files and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements. • Assist with organizing work orders and ensure supporting records are properly matched, coded, and filed. • Support month-end close activities and routine accounting tasks as requested by the accounting leadership team. • Perform additional accounting, administrative, or financial duties as assigned by leadership. • Handle high-volume invoice processing, typically between 150 and 350 invoices per week, with a strong focus on accurate data entry. • Work effectively with purchase orders and inventory receipts to ensure accurate recording of transactions. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Brea, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
