About this role

Job Title: ElectricianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on installing and assembling electrical systems in a commercial and industrial environment, including pulling wire, running conduit, wiring outlets, and installing switches, light fixtures, and wire harnesses. You will work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to build out wall systems that serve as the base for commercial rooms and control areas. All work involves non-energized wiring, allowing you to concentrate on quality installation and precise assembly.Responsibilities

• Pull wire and run conduit for commercial electrical installations. • Install wire and electrical systems in a commercial and industrial setting. • Wire outlets, switches, light fixtures, and related electrical components. • Install and assemble wire harnesses according to specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to complete installations accurately. • Work from electrical panel layouts and schematics to ensure proper connections and routing. • Build and install electrical systems on wall structures that serve as the base for commercial rooms and control areas. • Bend conduit to specified measurements and configurations to support clean and organized installations. • Follow established electrical assembly procedures and quality standards. • Collaborate with team members to plan, stage, and complete projects efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized work area within the industrial/manufacturing environment. Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial electrical experience. • Proven experience pulling wire and running conduit in commercial environments. • Ability to read and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics. • Hands-on experience installing wire and electrical systems in a commercial or industrial setting. • Skill in bending conduit accurately to meet project specifications. • Experience wiring outlets, switches, light fixtures, and related components. • Familiarity with electrical panels and basic panel wiring concepts. • Apprentice-level or equivalent practical experience in electrical assembly. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions. • Ability to work safely and efficiently in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience assembling and installing wire harnesses in commercial applications. • Experience working on wall systems that serve as bases for commercial rooms and control areas. • Comfort working with non-energized (non-live) electrical systems during installation. • Ability to collaborate effectively with other electricians and production staff. • Strong problem-solving skills when interpreting complex blueprints and schematics. • Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain workflow in a production environment. You will work primarily Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional Saturday mornings when project demands require additional coverage. The work involves hands-on electrical installation on wall systems and control room bases, using tools and equipment typical for commercial electrical and conduit work. All wiring performed in this role is non-live, allowing you to concentrate on precise installation and assembly in a structured production setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
