Established for 40 years, the company is a 91-person heavy civil contractor specializing in heavy civil construction, wastewater, R&G, dam work, excavation, and process piping. The company has built a strong reputation for taking on complex projects and solving unique construction challenges while maintaining a close-knit, family-oriented culture.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Project Managers to join a growing heavy civil construction team. This role will manage multiple projects from planning through closeout, with typical project values of $2M–$10M and durations of 6 months to 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3–4 projects simultaneously from planning through closeout

• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, owners, and internal teams

• Conduct project meetings and monitor overall project progress

• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with safety expectations

• Use Procore and Oracle/P6 for project management and scheduling

Must-Haves

• 3-5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil, wastewater, dam work, excavation, process piping, or a closely related industry

• Candidates without direct industry experience should have 5–7+ years of PM experience

• Experience managing $2M+ projects from start to finish

• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints

• Understanding of survey work

• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Northeast; most travel is day-trip based

PMP certification is a plus.

Key Benefits of the Role

• $100K–$140K base + performance bonus (typically around 25%, uncapped)

• Family-oriented, tight-knit company with long-tenured employees

• Significant growth and opportunity to take on greater responsibility

• Variety of challenging heavy civil and infrastructure projects

• Relocation assistance may be available

• Health, dental, and vision coverage

• 401(k) with up to a 4% company match

• 3 weeks PTO and 8 paid holidays

This is an opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys solving unique challenges, taking ownership, and working in a hands-on environment rather than a highly corporate setting.

Looking forward to your application! 100k-140k
