Project Overview We are conducting a strategic market research project on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry, focusing on selected AI models and technology segments. We seek an intern to support our team in analyzing the South Korean AI market and its competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will assist with research and analysis in the following areas:
• Conduct secondary research on the South Korean AI market, covering relevant models, technologies, and segments.
• Identify and profile major Korean AI companies and market participants.
• Analyze the competitive landscape, including:
• Key players and their market positioning
• Business and revenue models
• Product and service offerings
• Customer and industry segment breakdown
• B2B, B2C and B2G presence, where applicable
• Key strengths and competitive advantages
• Key weaknesses and potential challenges
• Strategic priorities and future expansion plans
• Review Korean-language company materials such as websites, press releases, investor presentations, regulatory filings, news articles, and industry publications.
• Collect and validate quantitative and qualitative data on market size, company revenues, customer base, partnerships, investments, and competitive positioning, as available.
• Translate and synthesize relevant Korean-language information into English insights for the project team.
• Assist in preparing company profiles, competitive benchmarking, market analysis, and presentation materials.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a candidate who:
• Possesses native or professional-level proficiency in Korean and strong English communication skills.
• Demonstrates a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, technology, and market research.
• Is comfortable conducting detailed research with Korean-language sources.
• Has strong analytical skills and can distill large volumes of information into clear, structured insights.
• Has working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience in AI, technology research, consulting, competitive intelligence, or market research is an advantage
