The Impact You'll Make Danfoss in Van Wert, OH seeks a 3rd shift Product Inspector. The inspector must learn and apply techniques to improve products, processes, and quality. Maintain flexibility to move between areas to meet customer delivery and plant productivity goals. Support operations by containing and escalating product nonconformities, communicating promptly with departments, and engaging other functions as needed. Verify product conformity using drawings, blueprints, and gauges. What You’ll Be Doing Ability to set up and operate a diverse variety of test equipment, gauges, and measurement devices. Maintain flexibility to move between work areas to meet customer delivery expectations and achieve plant productivity goals. Work efficiently to establish standards without constant supervision. Participate in quality system audits (i.e., LPA, internal, customer, third party), quality training, and other teams supporting an effective quality management system. Maintain close collaborative relationships with cross-functional support teams, including Operations, Application Engineering, Schedulers, Accounting, Buyers, Customer Service Representatives, Sales Engineers, Product/Process Eng ineers, and Engineering Test Laboratory. Create and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, practicing safety in all activities. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer and math skills. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good mechanical skills. Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing). Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
