Neutron dosimetry is far less developed then photon/beta dosimetry. To improve neutron dosimetry, more representative neutron calibration fields are required. Such a reference simulated workplace field was recently established at the Laboratory for Nuclear Calibrations at SCK CEN. In this research project the recently established reference simulated neutron workplace field at the Laboratory for Nuclear Calibrations will be validated. This will be done by dedicated measurements that will be compared with Monte Carlo simulations. Furthermore, different types of neutron monitors and personal neutron dosemeters will be evaluated in this field and compared to the reference dose established based on the reference simulations and measurements.
