We Make Life More Rewarding and Dignified Location : ​Gurgaon​ Department : ​IT Principal Enterprise Architect - SCM Summary: We are seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect – SCM (Logistics and TMS) with 18+ years of experience to lead architecture and delivery of large-scale, high value global logistics, and transportation, transformation programs. The role requires deep, hands-on experience across SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Warehouse Management, Material Management (MM), Coupa/ARIBA , EDI and IG guide configuration, 3PL logistics, and enterprise Transportation Management Systems (TMS). The architect will be accountable for end-to-end solution design, ensuring seamless integration between order management, procurement, inventory, transportation execution, billing, and financial settlement This role also requires Delivery ownership for SAP CoE to lead the stabilization phase after S/4 Go Live and drive continuous improvements Responsibilities: End to End Solution Architecture and Delivery Ownership Own the overall SAP Supply Chain and transportation solution architecture . SAP MM (Procurement, Inventory Management, STOs) SAP P2P (Shipment creation, execution, freight settlement) Enterprise Transportation Management System (any leading TMS software- SAP TMS, BY TMS, Oracle TMS) Design future state architectures that ensure seamless flow from: Customer order to delivery and final shipment to customer ,Procurement and internal stock movements, Delivery, shipment, carrier execution ,Billing, freight settlement, and financial posting Define clear functional and system boundaries between SAP modules, boundary applications, and TM to avoid duplication, ensure clean ownership, and simplify operations. Procurement, Inventory & MM Integration Procurement flows and inbound logistics Stock transfers (STO) and intercompany movements Inventory visibility across plants, storage locations, and distribution centers Customer order and STO to outbound logistics, shipment Ensure clean linkage between MM, WM/EWM (where applicable), and TM. Support network and inventory optimization initiatives across hubs, 3PL, DCs, Integration & Data Architecture Define and govern integration architecture across SAP modules (MM, WM, eWM, P2P, SD), TMS, carriers, 3PLs, Middleware and external platforms. Oversee EDI, API, and event driven integrations for orders, deliveries, shipments, freight, and invoices. Review and approve: Solution Design Documents (SDD) Technical Design Documents (TDD) Integration, migration, and rollout strategies Ensure SI proposals and solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, business objectives, Certifications: SAP Certification on SCM solutions SAP Certification on Sourcing & Procurement TOGAF SAP Activate Methodology Work Experience Requirements: Number of Overall Years Necessary: 20 Plus A minimum of 10 years of SAP implementation experience in SCM area A minimum of 10 years of experience in Logistics and Warehouse Management Specialized Skills / Technical Knowledge: Processes deep ERP application knowledge in the following functional areas. Application knowledge includes configuration of business processes, key integration points between modules, related master data, and transactional execution. Maintains current knowledge of the business trends and technology developments and applies this knowledge to meet the business challenges. Warehousing and Distribution: Process knowledge should include product storage, inventory management, order fulfillment and transportation. Integration knowledge should include connections to order to cash, planning, and finance. Purchasing: Process knowledge should include purchase order processing, stock transport order processing, inventory management, and master data (vendor, material, purchasing info records). Integration knowledge should include connection to warehouse management, distribution and finance. Additionally, knowledge of demand planning and supply network planning in SAP IBP or BY SCPO is applicable to this specialization. Strong analytical skills to identify business needs, formulate viable alternative solutions, and present the business/technical impact of the solutions. Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and technical concepts explained verbally. Communicates with business users in clear, non-technical language and confirms understanding by paraphrasing and adjusting speaking pace when needed.
