Job Title: Assistant Manager – Stores & Warehouse Division/Company/Entity: Shree Mahavir Metalcraft Pvt. Ltd. Location: Jamnagar Department: Stores Reports to: Supply Chain Manager Does this job have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Number of reports: - 4 Job Titles of reports: - Supervisor Region of reports: Jamnagar Position Summary This position will be responsible to oversee daily operations of stores activities in Incoming outgoing, electroplating, Grinding & Buffing, and Job work, division. Roles and Responsibilities: ➢ Plans and directs the day-to-day operations of the all the store activity incoming and outgoing. ➢ Material movement from one process to another process. ➢ Ensure the stores taking process carried out as per the define SOP. ➢ Review FG/SFG stock levels & maintained and make key decisions about stock control. ➢ Prompt resolution of various issues by interacting with concerned departments’ Incharge/ heads. ➢ Accurate & timely reporting to the management. ➢ Assisting the supply chain manager in all areas of daily business operations customer service and merchandising. ➢ Monitor and maintain optimum inventory levels report periodically to management. ➢ Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage as per management instruction. ➢ Maintaining a clean, organized and aesthetically pleasing store front 5S Activity. ➢ Resolving Internal Department customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner. ➢ Ensure Stock taking activity carried out at the end of financial year. ➢ Ensure adherence of PPE’s in working environment. Skills & Abilities Required: ➢ Good people management skills. ➢ Effective communication skills. ➢ Decision-making and problem-solving skills. ➢ Hands on experience with SAP-MM and PP module. ➢ Good knowledge of various manufacturing process-Sheet Metal, Press shop, Machine shop, Forging, Paint shop, Pressure Die Casting and Electroplating will be an added advantage.
