Job Summary The Activity Coordinator designs, develops and plans activities, outings and events. The role is responsible for developing programs, staffing the events and overseeing the implementation of activities. Performs a variety of program duties through planning, organizing and implementing activities Generally report to an activity director or relevant management. Job Responsibilities 1 Organize and plan various entertainment activities and events, including live performances, games, workshops, and theme nights, catering to the preferences and interests of the target audience. Develop creative and engaging activity programs that enhance guest satisfaction and participation, incorporating a diverse range of entertainment options suitable for different age groups and demographics. Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and performers to ensure seamless execution of entertainment programs, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation. Interact with guests to promote upcoming activities, encourage participation, and gather feedback to continuously improve the entertainment offerings. Ensure that all entertainment activities adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards, conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate potential hazards. Assist in developing and managing the entertainment budget, monitoring expenses, negotiating contracts, and seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Provide training and guidance to entertainment staff, performers, and volunteers, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote entertainment events through various channels, including social media, website listings, and promotional materials, to attract guests and maximize attendance. Collect feedback from guests and staff regarding entertainment activities, analyze data, and evaluate the success of each event to identify areas for improvement and inform future planning. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and guest preferences in entertainment, proactively seeking opportunities to innovate and enhance the overall entertainment experience for guests. Job Responsibilities 2 Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge & Skills Ability to plan, organize, and execute entertainment activities and events, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation. Knowledge of the target audience's demographics, interests, and preferences to develop entertainment programs that cater to their needs and enhance guest satisfaction. Understanding of safety protocols, regulations, and risk assessment procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff during entertainment activities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, performers, vendors, and internal teams effectively, fostering positive relationships and collaboration. Ability to think creatively and innovate in developing engaging entertainment programs and activities that differentiate the venue and attract guests. ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
