We are actively seeking a Project Delivery Manager to join our Project Delivery Group in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of complex water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects, overseeing multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout. Projects may include water transmission and distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, rehabilitation programs, pumping facilities, and other municipal infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing strategic project leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Manage multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating engineering, environmental, construction, and technical resources to achieve project goals. Oversee project planning, execution, risk management, financial performance, resource allocation, and reporting. Review and guide technical designs, contract documents, specifications, and deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards. Lead project controls activities, including scope management, change management, scheduling, forecasting, and budget tracking. Support procurement activities, contract negotiations, and construction administration for municipal infrastructure projects. Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving project delivery challenges. Collaborate with internal discipline leaders and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination. Contribute to business development activities, including client engagement, proposal preparation, strategic pursuits, and identifying opportunities for future work. Mentor and support project managers, engineers, and technical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Support the Director, Project Delivery and senior leadership team with strategic initiatives and operational priorities as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario, or eligibility for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario. 15+ years of progressive experience delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects within a consulting engineering environment. Demonstrated experience leading large, complex linear infrastructure projects, including watermains, sewers, pumping stations, and related municipal infrastructure. Proven track record of successfully managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk. Strong client relationship management skills, with experience acting as a trusted advisor to municipal and public-sector clients. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing project delivery across multiple stakeholders. Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure design standards, approvals, permitting requirements, and construction practices. Experience with project financial management, forecasting, resource planning, and commercial project delivery. Experience preparing proposals, developing project execution strategies, and supporting business development initiatives. Familiarity with environmental assessments, utility coordination, and regulatory approval processes is considered an asset. Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent is considered an asset. Preferred Attributes: Strategic thinker with the ability to balance technical, commercial, and client considerations. Strong leadership presence and ability to influence project outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced consulting environment. Commitment to client service excellence, team development, and continuous improvement. Base salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness. Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
