About this role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will join our engineering team in Oxford to support our activities within the aerospace and advanced manufacturing sector.
You will support the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality design solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer with at least one year of CAD design experience with siemens NX who is looking to further develop their skills within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Create and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings for mechanical components and assembliesSupport product design and development activities from concept through to manufactureUpdate and modify existing designs in response to project requirements and engineering changesCollaborate with manufacturing, systems, and project engineering teams to ensure design suitabilityParticipate in design reviews and contribute to technical problem-solving activitiesEnsure all design documentation is maintained in accordance with company standards Required Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical CAD design roleStrong understanding of mechanical engineering and design principlesExperience creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawingsAbility to interpret engineering specifications and technical documentationGood attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesRequired Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Experience using CAD software within an engineering environmentUnderstanding of engineering drawing standards and manufacturing processesDesirable Skills:
Experience using Siemens NXExposure to aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industriesKnowledge of GD&T and Design for Manufacture (DfM)Experience working within a PLM-managed environmentFamiliarity with product lifecycle and change management processes Why join us?
