About this role
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for general environmental monitoring testing following written procedures and the execution of written protocols with limited supervision.
Collects samples for Environmental monitoring (EM) and utilities monitoring (UM) at client facilitiesTransports samples, supplies, and equipment between the Eurofins laboratory site and client sitesPerform laboratory analyses including (but not limited to) Bioburden, Endotoxin, Total organic carbon (TOC), conductivity, pHPerforms visual inspection of agar plates for microbial growthData entry into LIMS or controlled forms using good documentation practices (GDP) At least an Associate's degree in microbiology or other relevant subject. High school diploma with previous GMP environmental monitoring/microbiology work experience would be consideredStrong aseptic techniqueAbility to be on your feet for 4+ hours at a timeAbility to lift or move 20lbsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and OutlookAttention to detailProactive, self-starter with problem solving and multitasking skills Position is part-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with potential overtime or flexed hours as needed.
