About this role
In this role, you'd be responsible for coordinating laboratory equipment throughout its lifecycle, including onboarding, qualification, maintenance, and retirement.
Work closely with vendors and service providers to schedule installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and calibration activitiesValidate and commission new equipment, maintain equipment records and compliance documentation, troubleshooting equipment-related issues, and manage the decommissioning/offboarding process of automated liquid handlers, plate readers, and PCR systems
Ensure equipment remains operational, compliant, and aligned with business needs
Significant Safety or Working Considerations:
May come into contact with potentially infectious material.May handle hazardous chemicals Bachelors degree in engineering science with a minimum of 2 years relevant experienceExperience in a GLP or GMP laboratory, preferably in a bioanalytical settingAbility to follow Standard Operating Procedures with insight into continuous improvementUnderstand and apply regulatory/ compliance requirements relative to the roleProblem solver/troubleshooter, skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with overtime as needed.
