About this role
Chemist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform routine sample preparation using wet chemistry techniques, and smoking machines for tobacco productsPerform analytical testing of tobacco using GC/GCMS and other ancillary laboratory equipmentPerform all lab work with high degree of accuracy and precisionDocument results accurately in notebooks and computer systemsRead, understand, and interpret analytical procedures, update procedures as neededPerform instrument calibration, recognizes errors, identifies root causes, applies process improvementsReview and verify dataCommunicate effectively with client staff members The ideal candidate would possess:
