About this role
Position Summary: Assists laboratory personnel in any way to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Duties include:
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Dispose of samples once complete
Place pipettes in washer
Put away clean glassware, pipettes
Wash stoppers
Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Performs other duties as assigned
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to accurately read and record results
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to learn new tasks
Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently Will be exposed to potential food allergens.
Reside within a commutable distance to Madison, WI lab.
Other Factors:
Expected to understand the process for handling hazardous wastes and receive on-the-job training for handling specific waste types in their job area
Mandatory immunizations and screening as required
Overtime and weekend work as required
