About this role
Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocolsMaintaining quality control of all assignments and completing documents in a timely mannerFollowing and enforcing company health and safety policiesFollowing technical instructions and guidanceLong distance driving and night driving, as neededRoutes may include driving into New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and PittsburghRoutes will be a maximum of 250 miles from Lancaster, PA Additional duties as assignedThe position is part-time, on an as needed basis. Hours will be as needed throughout the week, with an estimated 15-20 hours/week on average, but hours may fluctuate week to week. Hours could be during the day, evening, or occasionally on weekends. Basic Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.A valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities.Must be able to operate a motor vehicle Must be able to use Smartphone. Must be willing and able to drive long distances (4+ hours) Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipThe ideal candidate would possess:
Ability to follow GPS directions Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Position is Part-time position, on an as needed basis.
