*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. * Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. * Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary. * Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. * Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal, to interact positively with customers and colleagues. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
