*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to recipes and standards, ensuring timely service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with knowledge of the food industry and food handling procedures.
Wage range includes excellent tip out structure.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail, following established recipes and presentation standards * Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients * Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices * Maintain cleanliness of work stations, cooking equipment, and utensils throughout shifts * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders * Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation before serving * Follow health department regulations and company policies to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly desirable * Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly * Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures * Strong organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting * Excellent teamwork and communication skills * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy pots or trays * A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes to guests
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
