*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a passion for restoring vehicles to their original condition. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to perform repairs and refinishing on damaged vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
*Duties*
* Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs * Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting * Replace or repair damaged parts, such as doors, hoods, and fenders * Conduct mechanical repairs as needed to ensure proper vehicle function * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols * Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure quality standards are met
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role is preferred * Dealership experience is a plus, showcasing familiarity with specific vehicle makes and models * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot automotive issues * Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to auto body repair * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process * Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
