We are seeking a skilled Fireplace Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fireplaces, ensuring safety standards and customer satisfaction are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, hands-on skills with various tools, and a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.
*Duties*
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to fireplace installation projects. * Install fireplaces using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols. * Prepare work sites by performing concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, and flooring installation as needed. * Seal installations with caulking and ensure proper venting, plumbing, electrical connections, and chimney setups. * Conduct restoration work or modifications on existing fireplace systems to improve functionality or aesthetics. * Collaborate with team members to estimate project costs based on construction estimating practices. * Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all installations meet local building codes and safety standards.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in construction-related fields such as masonry, carpentry, or general contracting. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation. * Knowledge of concrete finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry techniques. * Familiarity with construction estimating processes and safety regulations. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise installation work. * Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively.
