The work includes assigning, overseeing and co-ordinating work of other trades workers, designating work and work orders to appropriate personnel, providing trade expertise and participating in the repair and maintenance of plumbing systems, ordering materials, fabricating and installing plumbing and heating systems, acquiring all parts and components for equipment, monitors contractor activities and coordinate shutdowns, liaising and communicating with contractors and performing other related duties as required. Job DemandsBy applying for this job, you acknowledge an understanding that regular requirements and demands of this job include (but are not limited to):Constantly required to lift less than 10 lbs., regularly required to lift objects up to 25 lbs., and occasionally required to lift objects over 50 lbs.Occasionally required to sit, stand, walk, climb and drive to perform work activities.Occasionally work is performed in cramped/small spaces repairing building systems and equipment.Occasionally using fine finger or precision work and using hand tools that require accurate control and steadiness (pliers, screwdrivers, and electrical tools).Job QualificationsGraduation from High School or equivalent. Successful completion of a Journeyperson's Certificate in Plumbing. A minimum of five years of plumbing experience is required. Demonstrated strong time management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to coordinate a range of related work or project activities.
