These services will be delivered through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education. The incumbent will work as part of an interdisciplinary team. The Psychologist, Masters reports directly to the Manager of Adult Community Services or his / her designate. Human Resources Exemption: No Education- A Masters degree in Clinical PsychologyLicenses- Registered Master Psychologist with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE)- Valid Class 5 driver's licenseKnowledge & Abilities- Knowledge in best practice models, current research and relapse prevention- Ability to provide psychological consultations to the team, community, & schools- Knowledge of psychological assessment and treatment methods and tools- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in psychological assessments of adult clients- Ability to competently use computers and software applications- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team- Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure- Ability to develop educational resources and presentations- Ability to collect, record, report com...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
