JOB PURPOSEThe Plumber/Medical Gas Technician is responsible for performing plumbing work at the journeyman level and installing and maintaining medical gas systems.QUALIFICATIONSMust hold a Provincial Certificate of Qualification issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act as a plumber or welder.Must hold a medical gas system verifier or a medical gas system installer license issued under the Boiler Pressure Vessel Act. Must have or be willing to acquire Backflow Prevention Certification.Must have two years of experience.
