As a growing civil infrastructure contractor delivering municipal and commercial projects throughout Manitoba. We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to expand our field operations.
*Role Overview*
General Construction Labourer duties Include but are not limited to:
* Assist with construction activities such as site preparation, basework, grading, and concrete/asphalt preparation. * Operate hand tools and small equipment (cut-saws, compactors, etc.) * Operate heavy equipment as needed (Packer, Loader, etc.) * Support heavy equipment operators on the ground as needed * Perform physical tasks such as digging, leveling, and clean-up * Follow all safety procedures and company policies
*Requirements:*
* Previous construction or labour experience preferred (roadwork experience is an asset) * Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) * Valid Drivers License (Class 5 is required, Class 3 is an asset) * Ability to operate heavy equipment is an asset * Strong work ethic and reliability * Ability to work well in a team environment * Ability to work outside in all weather conditions * Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends if required
