We are small professional construction company, and our goal is to hire a person who likes working a project from start to finish and wants to work for a company with lots of room for growth. Our work is around the Oceanside area, typically from Bowser to Nanaimo but primarily around Parksville.

We are looking for an experienced carpenter who is highly proficient in new builds and renovations, and able to tackle different scopes of a project from start to finish; with the primary focus on finishing and exterior cladding. The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate has to work well with other team members and has experience working in a team environment. Starting wage for Journeyman (or experienced equivalent) is 40$/hr
Responsibilities:
* Use power tools and handtools to build and repair structures. * Be familiar with architectural blueprints. * Be able to read and interpret plans. * Understand the use of various building materials. * Construct, repair, and repair structures of various kinds. * Work on projects from beginning to completion. * Communicate with customers regarding their building needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
