Because we're New Brunswickers too; we care about our customers and future generations, and today we are actively looking for a new member to join us.As a member of the Mechanical Maintenance team at Mactaquac Generating Station, the Maintenance Tradesworker performs preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the station.Key functions include:Measure and inspect turbines and generators to ensure proper operating clearances, making adjustments as needed to maintain safe tolerances.Maintain and repair plant equipment, including compressors, fishway systems, cranes, and other common mechanical assets.Maintain and service tools and shop equipment, including drills, lathes, milling machines, welders, and related machinery.Our ideal teammate will have:Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) CQValid Class 5 Driver's LicenseNew Brunswick Qualified F4 Welding LicenseAn equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
