A Maintenance vehicle is provided for local travel.Installs and/or repairs offices, doors, windows, glass, locks, and office furniture such as desks, bookcases, shelving, etc. Additional duties include key management, preventative maintenance, and operation of power tools including but not limited to table saws, electric drills, and hand tools.By applying for this job, you acknowledge an understanding that regular requirements and demands of this job include (but are not limited to):Constantly lifts, carries or moves objects up to 11 lbs., regularly between 11 - 44 lbs. and occasionally over 44 lbs.Regularly requires physical effort using tools that require accurate control and steadiness; completing tasks with a focus on safety and safe work practices in all work areas; maintaining physical balance, standing, walking, climbing, using gross and fine motor skills, and working in awkward or cramped positions requiring strength and/or endurance.Work is impacted by time pressures/deadlines, interruptions and lack of control over work pace as priorities change, services being interrupted, etc.Required to assist other trades people with maintenance activities.Other related duties as required.Qualifications: Completion of an Interprovincial Journeyman?s Certificate in a specified trade is required (carpentry) and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. A valid driver?s license is also required.
