We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and self-regulated *Full-Time Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)* to join our growing team.
*Position Overview*
As a key member of our clinical team, you will work closely with our dentists and hygienists to ensure seamless patient care, maintain infection control protocols, and support efficient clinic operations.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Clinical Support*
* Assist dentists chairside with various procedures * Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment prior to patient arrival. * Take diagnostic, digital radiographs (X-rays) as directed. * Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient dental charts and clinical notes using practice management software (Tracker).
*Safety, Sterilization & Compliance*
* Strictly adhere to provincial dental college guidelines, RCDSO applicable provincial standards, and universal precautions. * Operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves), perform biological monitoring, and maintain instrument reprocessing logs.
*Required Skill Sets & Qualifications*
*Education & Certification*
* Graduation from an accredited Level II/Level II Dental Assisting program. * Current *Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)* * Valid *CPR certification* (BLS). * Valid certification in *Dental Radiography (HARP)*.
*Technical & Clinical Skills*
* Proficiency in chairside four-handed dentistry (Periodontic and Endodontic chairside experience is an asset, however not required) * Familiarity with digital radiography and modern dental practice management software. * Strong understanding of infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols.

* *Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills:* Ability to build rapport quickly with patients of all ages and communicate effectively with team members. * *Time Management & Organization:* Exceptional ability to multitask, anticipate clinical needs, and keep a busy schedule running smoothly. * *Attention to Detail:* High precision in record-keeping, instrument processing, and clinical setup.
