About this role
Schedule: - Day shift is 8hr / 5 days a week, Monday-Friday - Evening shift is 8hr / 5 days a week, Monday-Friday - Shifts are not rotating, shop employees are either day or evening shift.
Responsibilities: - Read and interpret shop drawings. - Operate welding equipment to weld and fabricate metal components according to project requirements - Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts - Perform quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet required standards and specifications - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget
Skills: - Proficient in various welding techniques. - Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations related to welding and fabrication - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues
Certificates (must be valid/current):
- C ticket or a flat FCAW/MCAW CWB ticket

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
