Job Responsibilities
* Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks on assigned routes * Complete thorough *pre-trip and post-trip inspections* * Transport freight safely and efficiently * Properly secure and inspect loads * Complete daily logs, delivery documentation, and required paperwork * Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and delivery issues * Follow all applicable Quebec and Canadian transportation regulations * Maintain a clean and safe vehicle * Report mechanical issues and safety concerns promptly * Provide professional and courteous service to customers
Requirements
* *Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence* * *Minimum 1 year of verified Class 1 driving experience* * Clean and acceptable driving record * *French language proficiency is required* * Previous freight transportation experience * Ability to perform vehicle inspections and complete required documentation * Strong communication and organizational skills * Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
