About this role

Operating at the regional operational level, the Civil Aviation Safety Inspector (CASI) Airworthiness exercises delegated ministerial authority to deliver regulatory surveillance, certification, and services. The incumbent functions as a technical authority in the airworthiness field, ensuring that regional air operators, Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs), and manufacturers comply with the Aeronautical Act and the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs). Inspectors must be leaders and skilled communicators capable of working effectively with others and adapting to the different needs of our clients. They must sometimes take rapid, decisive action and must be able to influence stakeholders, facilitate behavior change and support the development of new competencies in regulated industries.
