*Responsibilities*
* Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, ensuring a sterile and organized environment for each patient * Assist dentist during a variety of procedures, including fillings, extractions, and pediatrics, providing support with precision and care * Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays), take impressions, images, all within the scope of your certification * Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene practices, and preventive measures to promote long-trm dental health * Manage patient records using Dentally dental practice management software ensuring accuracy and confidentiality * Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA standards to ensure safety for patients and staff
*Experience*
* Certified Dental Assistant credential from an accredited program is required; previous experience in general dentistry is highly preferred * Good command of English language is a must * Proficiency with dental software systems is an asset but not mandatory; training can be provided * Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry improves communication with patients and team members * Strong understanding of infection control practices and OSHA regulations ensures compliance and safety standards are met
