About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Employment terms options: Evening. Morning. Day. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Support for Veterans: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Veterans. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .
