Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Water filtration plant. Tasks: Identify and document potential environmental and safety problems . Investigate reported potential environmental and safety problems. Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Provide information for maintenance plans to ensure that maintenance and production objectives are met. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Oversee safety of operations. Set up machines and equipment. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Water wastewater operator Certification. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
