About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Employment terms options: Evening. Morning. Day. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Support for Veterans: Offers workshops, counselling services or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce (for example: adapting to different organizational structures) . Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Support for mature workers: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for mature workers . Supports for visible minorities: Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
