About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation. Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Professionalism in customer service. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. Type of trucking and equipment: Dry bulk. Refrigerated. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Large workload. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
