Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Administer bedside and personal care. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Launder clothing and household linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Provide companionship. Provide personal care. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Repetitive tasks. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Initiative. Reliability. Experience: No experience (will train). Employment terms options: Day. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Does not require Canadian work experience.
