Main duties of the job
Provide core Associate sexual health and HIV nursing skills including microscopy, chaperoning,and venepuncture, and cryotherapy, genital examination of male and female patients. The collection, handling and processing of samples (including cervical cytology). To work in all aspects of sexual health and HIV services. Use appropriate clinical guidance documents. Pre-test discussions with patients regarding HIV and Hepatitis using interpersonal skills toassess patients understanding, risk and eligibility. To adhere to Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust policies on child protection and Frasercompetencies in relation to sexual health and the under 16's.

Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification GCSE Grade A-C English and Maths or level 2 in Maths and English
