Job summary
To provide high-quality graphic design support to the Creative and Brand Lead and wider Marketing and PR Team, producing creative materials that align with agreed brand guidelines, campaign objectives and corporate priorities. Operating within a matrix structure, the postholder will report to the Head of Marketing and PR for line management while receiving day-to-day functional direction from the Creative and Brand Lead to ensure technical quality and brand consistency. Final creative approval and brand sign-off rests with the Creative and Brand Lead, with the postholder operating within clearly defined brand, communications and organisational policies and escalating complex or high-risk matters as required.
The role focuses on the delivery and production of marketing materials across print and digital channels. The postholder will work with colleagues from across the Provide Community Group to support a range of business projects and develop/design individual service campaigns and marketing collateral. This includes contributing visual input to support delivery of agreed marketing strategies and campaign objectives.
Main duties of the job
Be accountable for delivering high-quality graphic design work to agreed briefs, professional standards, and deadlines. Ensurethe consistent and accurate application of established brand guidelines across all print and digital materials, escalating any significant changes to the Creative and Brand Lead. Apply approved AI-driven features within design platforms appropriately and responsibly to enhance efficiency and quality of outputs.
Support the production of marketing collateral for a variety of channels, including print, digital platforms, and internal communications.
Prepare and "package" artwork for publication and professional production, ensuring all files meet technical specifications for high-quality output.
Maintain organised digital asset libraries and follow established file management systems.
Work within agreed marketing and communications processes and defined service level agreements.
Provide creative support to business projects as required by agreed briefs.

Qualifications Essential
Educated to HND, degree level or equivalent experience in graphic design, visual communication, or a related creative discipline.
Desirable
Evidence of continued professional development in digital media, AI tools, or branding.
Work related knowledge and experience Essential
Good working knowledge and experience of using graphic design applications and techniques to produce marketing materials. Proven practical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) within a professional working environment. Practical experience of using AI-driven tools to enhance design efficiency and output within defined governance frameworks.
Desirable
Evidence of continued professional development in digital media, AI tools, or branding. Experience of working within health or social care, the NHS or local authority. Experience using Canva and its advanced AI-driven features to support development of creative assets. Knowledge of the design requirements of digital marketing channels (social media, websites, etc.)
Skills Essential
Excellent IT skills including Adobe Creative suite and Microsoft Office. Accuracy and attention to detail when finalising designs with a focus on quality. Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at once.
Desirable
Ability to translate detailed information into clear, branded presentations and infographics using appropriate digital tools.
