Main duties of the job
Greeting patients face to face and via the telephone. Dealing with the answerphone and emails. Making follow up appointments. Assisting with ward requests in a timely manner. Liaising with GP's, Consultants, Clinicians, Holme House Prison queries.

Job description Job responsibilities
Checking patients in for appointments. Answering the telephone and dealing with the answerphone. Making follow up appointments. Assisting patients using the self check-in kiosks. Keeping the InTouch system updated daily. Liaising with Consultants, Clinicians, GP services, administration services within the hospital. Dealing with ward requests and post operative appointments. General administration housekeeping.

Essential Essential
GCSE at grade C or above in Mathematics Key Skills at level 2 in Numeracy (or equivalent) (2) GCSE at grade C or above in English Language, or Key Skills at level 2 in Literacy (or equivalent) (2) NVQ at level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Care (or equivalent) (2) Experience of clerical work involving computerised systems (2) Demonstrable experience of working in a customer focused environment (2)
Desirable
IT qualification (ITQ at level 2 or equivalent) (2) Experience of working within a healthcare environment (2) Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team (2)
