Job summary
We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro-active Housekeeper to join our friendly housekeeping team.
We are looking for an experienced housekeeper with high personal standards. You must be able to work well in a team and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with an empathetic approach. It would be advantageous to have previously worked in a health care setting and to have some knowledge of infection control procedures.
Main duties of the job
This role supports the smooth running of our housekeeping team across all areas of the hospice, especially during staff absences, leave, or busy periods. The post holder will carry out a range of cleaning and domestic tasks, helping to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hospice. This includes specialised cleaning in areas like treatment rooms and the pharmacy, as well as looking after cleaning equipment
