About this role

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with good communication skills who enjoys providing an excellent service to a wide range of people, by phone and face to face. As a GP Receptionist/Care Co-ordinator you will arrange appointments, answers queries, input data and signpost people to the appropriate services in our busy GP Surgery. Working closely with the GP team, you will ensure that everyone who contacts us receives the appropriate care.

We use TPP SystmOne and will provide training on this software.

This is a part-time post of approximately 28 hours a week. Normal working hours will be between 8am and 6.30pm, with one afternoon extending to 8pm once per month.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

GCSE grade A-C in English Language and Maths (or equivalent)

Desirable

Qualification in Health & Social Care Qualification in Customer Service

Experience Essential

Experience of providing excellent customer service Experience of using Microsoft word & excel

Desirable

Experience of working in a GP Practice or Hospital Experience of using TPP SystmOne
