Valley View's Valley Ortho clinic looking for a Patient Service Specialist II to join our team!
This is a full-time, day shift position!
Responsibilities include
• Provides patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties.
• Organizes patient flow, keeping physicians and patients on schedule.
• Maintains patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner.
• Screens office manager, physician and nurse calls, handling appropriately.
• Crosstrain in PCT/CNA/MA role.
• Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic.
• Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties.
• Performs patient care tasks following clinic standards of care as defined in policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
•
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Required to successfully completion of Assessment-Based Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHR's), within 30 days of hire or a current CO CNA License or current RMA/CMA Certification.
Skills:
• Clerical: typing filing, scheduling, computer, phone and people skills
• Excellent customer service skills; strong computer skills
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Laboratory and/or X-ray experience preferred.
Experience:
• Two years in a reception or clerical field.

SALARY
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
• Wage range: $20.00- $28.87/hour
