Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Supervisor of Elder Resource Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, performance, and development of employees in the positions of Elder Resource Specialist in the Elder Program. Responsible for coordinating with assigned employees to coordinate with Elders and caregivers to provide information, assistance, and referral to community resources, transportation to medical appointments, essential services, and in-home or group visit services as defined in their service plan with the goal of keeping Elders living independently for as long as possible. They may also be called upon to provide employees in these positions services within the program. The supervisor is responsible for guiding and coordinating the work of the group of employees toward established goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:
• High School diploma or GED.
• Meet one of the following qualifications:

• Associate's degree
• Two (2) years of experience performing administrative support duties.
• Demonstrated proficiency as an administrative support III or similar support position at SCF.
Additional Qualifications for Supervisor II:
• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience at the Supervisor I level; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Supervisor I at SCF.
Native Preference:
