About this role
• Inspect molded parts for cycle time, physical defects, and critical measurements.
• Perform functional testing including leak, fit, and other quality tests.
• Verify that products comply with established quality specifications and standards.
• Release molds that meet quality and production requirements.
• Reject defective material and properly identify and document defects using inspection tags.
• Inspect labels to ensure proper information, identification, and traceability.
• Inspect assembled parts and packaged units to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Verify integrity of assemblies, including pull tests, proper fitting, and correct component combinations.
• Inspect packaging materials, printed information, and production records to confirm suitability for application.
• Implement corrective actions when quality issues are identified.
• Document inspection results, decisions, product releases, incidents, and rework; submit reports to the Quality Assurance Department.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and comply with housekeeping standards.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety rules.
• Maintain familiarity with safety equipment, fire exits, emergency procedures, and fire extinguishers.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support quality and production objectives.
• Do not remove or disable safety devices without proper authorization and safeguards.
• Avoid unsafe behaviors, including operating equipment in a manner that may endanger self or others.
• Responsible for mold validation measurements.
