About this role

Position Summary & Objective:

Act as the liaison between Operations and the Process Quality Engineer. Be the main point of reference for the operators when quality-related observations arise.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate inspection and finishing equipment to ensure products meet all customer quality requirements.

• Perform visual inspection of production output and identify, isolate, and eliminate non-conforming material in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.

• Conduct quality control tests and communicate any non-conformances to the Process Quality Lead, Process Quality Engineer, and relevant production personnel.

• Maintain accurate quality and production records and ensure proper documentation of inspection results, defects, and corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures related to material handling, defect identification, quality inspections, safety, and security requirements.

• Support training and cross-training activities on quality inspection methods, equipment operation, and defect identification when required.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing, quality, inspection, or production environment preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and non-conformances against specifications and quality standards.

• Ability to read and interpret product specifications, work instructions, and quality documentation.

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate inspection and testing equipment.

• Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and make data-driven decisions.

• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and produce quality-related reports.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across production, engineering, and quality functions.

• Ability to train and support team members on quality procedures, inspection techniques, and equipment operation.

• Willingness to work shift schedules, overtime, and weekends as required by operational demands.

• Understanding Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, PDCA, and 5S principles are considered an asset.

• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent quality qualification would be considered an advantage.

Education & Experience:

• Preferably A-Level standard of education or equivalent.

• Experience in quality assurance, inspection, manufacturing operations, or process improvement environments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Good command of written and spoken English.
