About this role
Key Responsibilities
As a 5-Axis CNC Operator you will:
• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machining centers to produce high-precision components
• Run production jobs while maintaining quality, efficiency, and consistency
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, models, and GD&T requirements
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues on the floor
• Support new part introductions (NPI) and process validation
• Mentor and cross-train operators on setups, best practices, and machining fundamentals
• Provide real-time guidance on the shop floor to improve performance and confidence
• Help standardize processes and promote consistency across operations
• Reinforce a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
