ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Oversee all aspects of network infrastructure across all 8 MW Springs locations, inclusive of WAN, LAN, wireless, and the security of each
• Manage server infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-hosted (AWS) systems, ensuring availability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness
• Maintain monitoring and alerting to proactively identify and resolve outages and issues
• Work with application and ERP teams on project implementations and problem resolution
• Maintain patch management of network infrastructure, servers, and end-user systems to ensure systems are secure and up to date while minimizing business impact
• Manage cybersecurity, infrastructure, and related IT projects across all locations; evaluate and prioritize projects, ensuring timely, successful completion within approved budgets
• Manage network and server infrastructure life-cycle; maintain asset management of all hardware
• Document and maintain vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing
• Oversee requests, incidents, and problems escalated from the Service Desk; coordinate urgent and complex support issues
• Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity tools and processes (endpoint protection, firewall management, vulnerability management, backup/recovery, incident response) to ensure the safety and security of the company
• Own and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and contractual security requirements, including CMMC, and lead readiness efforts, documentation, and audits related to these requirements
• Serve as a point of escalation and technical mentor to Service Desk and site IT staff
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• 5+ years leading IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity functions, ideally across a multi-site environment
• 8+ years of IT experience as a systems/network engineer or infrastructure administrator
• Experience with IT security, WAN/SD-WAN, routing, switching, cloud services (AWS preferred), and server administration
• Working knowledge of virtualization and remote desktop solutions (e.g., RDSH/terminal server environments)
• Familiarity with CMMC and related federal contractor cybersecurity compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-171) strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
• Technical certifications from key vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, or Cisco, as well as familiarity with ITIL practices, are a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a lean team environment
