ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful guest service to all guests and team members.
• Provide work direction and supervision to Slot Technicians.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all aspects of slot machine maintenance i.e.; moves, conversions, and repair.
• Responsible for oversight of electronic gaming device activities for adherence to established procedures in collaboration with Slot Technical Assistant Managers.
• Ensure functionality of the slot maintenance system.
• Interact with Slot Operations personnel and guests while repairing slot machine functions.
• Assist with slot layout and installation.
• Trains Slot Technicians in job duties and tasks related to Slot Technician position.
• Directs and performs with special projects as assigned.
• Directs and performs preventative maintenance of slot machines: clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts.
• Assist in maintaining adequate stock of parts necessary for repairs.
• Perform floor maintenance: trouble shoot and repair machine malfunctions and system problems as they occur during gaming.
• Assist guests with questions and complaints regarding slot machines.
• Provide answers and explanations and rectify problems as appropriate.
• Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
• Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
• Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One-year related experience and/or training.
• Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and use of electronic test equipment experience required (ex: board testers, multi-meters, o-scopes).
• Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job may or may not have supervisory responsibilities.
• Responsible for staff development and training programs.
• Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to team members regarding performance.
• Provides recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
• Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
• Provides recommendation for team member performance (disciplining, coaching, and counseling).
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents In English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Team member must be able to qualify and maintain licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
• Must successfully complete TIPS training.

The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
