Furniture Installer

Job Summary
Experience handling and transporting furniture. Safely and efficiently install furnishings and accessories in timeshare units and other resort facilities. Must be self-sufficient in using a tape measure, unwrapping and unloading furniture from trucks, removing debris, recycling packaging materials, coordinating pickups as needed, wall mounting, art installation, and performing other tasks as directed by management or the supervisor. Perform repairs in a timely manner. Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift an average of 120 pounds. Ability to navigate rough terrain and stairs. Previous material handling or assembly experience is a plus.

Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Receive shipments, inspect merchandise for quality and damage, and report any issues as needed
• Perform quality checks and general maintenance repairs, including touch-up painting and minor furniture repairs
• Assist the Replacement staff as needed and attend staff development meetings
• Organize daily assignments to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Basic computer knowledge and experience operating small hand tools
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public
Experience:
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry or student housing (preferred, but will train the right candidate)
License:
• Good driving record (preferred)
